Workout and lose double weight

Recent studies have shown that listening to your favorite music while working out can significantly increase weight loss, up to twice as much. Now, isn't that great news?

Although we're accustomed to hearing music while attending gyms and fitness studios, scientists warn that music alone isn't going to do it. You have to LOVE the music you're listening while working out in order for it to have the super-slimming affect.

Which means that if your gym is playing techno non stop and you're a Cranberries kind of a girl, the music won't help. Results of the study state that our favorite music makes us less bored or concentrated on physical discomfort, while boosting our motivation and happiness.

So, your next purchase should be a sturdy discman or an mp3 player.

I love cycling and I hop on my bike two or three times a week during the nice weather season. My beloved mp3 player is right now stashed with following tunes: 50 cent – In da club, Sugababes – Hole in the head, Beyonce -Baby boy, Lil' Kim – Magic Stick, Moloko – Sing it back, Khia – Lick my neck, Green day – Boulevard of broken dreams, Gwen Stefany – Hollaback Girl, Missy Elliot – Gossip Folks, Prodigy – Chance my pitch up, Mexakinz – A little sumthin, Boomfunk MC's – Freestyler, Cindy Lauper – Girls gotta have fun, El Mariachi – Desperado, Nirvana – Smells like teen spirit, Pointer Sisters – I'm so excited.

If that playlist sounds weird, you should know that all these songs get me going, raise my adrenalin and have stuck with me for years and years. Fill your portable audio device of choice with songs you love and start working out, because the bikini season is just around the corner!
