Now that cooler weather has finally moved in for most of us, it's time to rethink your skin care routine. This doesn't have to be a total overhaul, but a few small changes will probably benefit your skin, which has different needs in different seasons.
1. Cleansing - Soap or no soap? I know soap is considered a bad word among some beauty experts, but a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil in bar form does an amazing job of cleaning your skin without leaving it stripped (there's also a no-soap formula). Still, if you can't tolerate soap, Cetaphil comes in a liquid form that can either be tissued or rinsed off. Or you have your choice of other mild cleansers like Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser.
2. Toning - While everyone doesn't use toner (it can be harsh if your skin is very dry), it can really help getting rid of dirt and other gunk which clogs your pores. If you like toner, but it's making your skin feel too tight, don't use it twice a day, but try only using it once, at night, after you remove your makeup for the day.

3. Moisturizing - I can't stress enough how important moisturizing is, and not just for your face. Of course, you should have a moisturizer specifically for your face, but another one made just for the body. The good thing is, you can pick up a decent body moisturizer in your drugstore for an inexpensive price. NIVEA Rich Caring Milk is a luscious cream that you can smooth on morning and night to keep your whole body well moisturized all winter long.
With a few minor changes to your skin care routine now, you can enjoy the benefits of touchably soft skin even during the coldest months of the year.
'Til next time, my pretties.

Vasaline is a great, all over body/face mosturizer also. It helps by making you glow from within (by hydrating the deepest layers, filling in the gaps, and since it has a water resistant properties, light bounces it off it, making it look like you 'glowing from within' -it is used by many celebrities, all of which have glowing skin, Tyra Banks is one of them. My must during winter - although also in summer, ;)
