Hair removal is becoming a fetish if you ask me. Women are happily giving away up to $145 in exchange for smooth legs and excruciating pain. Don't be fooled, almost all hair removal hurts like hell. And don't even get me started on the difficult task of getting an appointment when it suits you!
So why is shaving becoming so unpopular? Maybe because of the butchness of it (I actually heard a commercial saying: Do you really want to shave like a man?)? Or is it the short lasting results?
I don't know about you, but my leg hairs are just plain normal, and not at all difficult to shave off. It takes me about five minutes in the shower every morning to shave both legs and underarms, in the colder season I bother only every two to three days. My yearly supply of razors and shaving cream costs well under $100, and best of all, if shaving properly, there is no pain included whatsoever.
I'll stick to my disposable razors.

I agree with you, it is almost like the new status symbol to use the most up to date and expensive hair removal possible. I get my eye-brows threaded and sometimes use dipilatory on my bikini line (I do it all), but everything else gets shaved. Pits are so easy and quick, I cannot imagine paying and witing to have them delat with, and I like having smooth legs whenever I want!
