But, if you are not ready to spend initial (for someone considerable) amount of $$, or just don't want to sit at the salon for hours, why not try Virtual Nails? These are an invention of the Dashing Diva salon, and I have heard many good reviews about the nails. Here's what virtual nails are:
"With Virtual Nails™ there's no need for fill-ins either. After 2 weeks of wear, you just soak them off for 10-15 minutes in our special 'Magic Melt' solution (a special combination of acetone and lanolin) and put on a whole new set ... or go back to sporting your own natural nails. Now there's a proposition that resonates with nail biters, not to mention all you "toe-in-the-water" types."
If you had these or are going to get a set, let me know how it went!

Just got my first set of Virtual Nails yesterday and THEY ARE FANTASTIC. They really look as if they're growing out of my nail bed. They're perfectly matched to my nail, seem incredibly strong - I couldn't be more thrilled. It's obvious that they're FAR better for my nails than acrylics. My nail tecnhician said that they will last for at least 2 weeks, but can last for up to a month. They're far lighter than acrylics and look so soo natural. I'm a chronic nail biter and I think that this might be the solution that will keep me from biting forever. And at $30 the price is right too!
