Vintage handbag
Posted on 30 August 2006

I couldn't resist but to post about this wonderful vintage looking handbag, a masterpiece design of a young Estonian designer Krista Raak. This bag is almost dream-like, just read what the designer has written about it:
Inspired of old manor's faded interiors and vintage painted porcelain bouquets, this bag is decorated with handmade silk flowers in bright gradients of orchid, burnt orange, flamy orange with coral and details of hand- dyed lace& tulle with golden threads. Wintage buttons and brass seed beads adorne the composition. Lined with dark vine-red satin. Closes with vintage button at top.
Just lovely isn't it? This handbag would wear well all through the day, especially if you're spending your free time browsing around, having a coup of coffee with your friends, seeing a show or having dinner with someone special. It'll surely give you a hint of romance and sophistication.
The handbag is called Vintage bouquet and is priced E122 (around $156) The artist accepts international orders.

Krista Raak has, as far as I know, a collection of necklaces and chokers, as well. She is talented, indeed. This bag is the proof.
Yes, I’ve seen her other work too. It’s just amazing what some people can do with material!
