Tips and tricks: homemade scrub
One more in my dry skin remedies bag is peeling, or exfoliator if you want. Although stripping dry flakes of skin might not seem like the thing to do in this cold, trust me, if you remove the dead cells your moisturizer is going to sink in so much better!

I always loved peelings, I usually massage them in once a week in the warm season and twice a week in winter, so that my skin is always silky smooth. There's nothing wrong with buying a scrub: I personally love Lush Buffy bar, which is on the pricey side, but works miracles!

But, if you're short of cash, you can whip up a perfectly good homemade peeling at home, and you wouldn't even have to buy anything special. Mix half a cup of brown sugar with a quarter of a cup of olive oil, and you can also add a few drops of scented oil to your delight. Scrub gently, you don't want to peel your skin off! This homemade scrub is great for your body, but I wouldn't recommend exfoliating your face with it cause it could be too harsh.

Remember to moisturize thoroughly, did you try Nivea Crème? It's thick but it sinks in greatly.
