Thinking of getting married?

Are you one of those lucky girls with an engagement ring on your finger, your fiancé safely tamed and ready to say yes? Preparing for the party of your life and head over heels in gift registries, bridemate outfits and band choosing?

The posts start a few weeks ago, with an appropriate title Wedding Anxiety Strikes Hard, and take us through ring envy, mother's trying to take over, gifts and chore sharing.

As Kate puts it: I need a manicure in the worst possible way. Even my trainer made a remark. I ate my nails for lunch. Now all that's left are tiny stubs with little moons and tattered polish, and even those are starting to look tasty now. I'm craving a cigarette and I never even used to smoke! My vodka soda isn't working. Vices are failing me and THIS, my friends, is a sign that I am crossing over. These are also signs that I am planning a wedding.

Makes you feel not so alone and going crazy, doesn't it? Although I'm not planning a wedding yet :), I had a blast reading Kate's stories. Her writing is straightforward, honest and you can totally get the feeling of what she's going through.

This lovely girl is also a talented animator (see the picture), so her blog is also nice to look at. Little videos she made are hilarious! So, thumbs up for Kate and best of luck to her!
