Think Pink for Spring 2008

Yes, it's that time of year again. Time to think about Spring! I know, it's still fall, but in the fashion world, they're always thinking ahead and letting you know what will be "It" next season or the season after next. What can you expect in makeup for next Spring?

According to L'Oreal's forecast, the word on the lips is pink. Pink is the ultimate girly color and I love it on lips. It's barely there, but can add the softest touch of sophistication.



What girly shades should you pick up in preparation for the warmer weather next year? Here's just a few suggestions:

- L'Oreal Colour Riche in shades Pink Lady, Gilded Pink, tickled pink, All About Pink and Mauve
- Lancome Color Fever in Pink in the Limo, Rose Defile or Fashion Crave Framboise
- Chanel's four-color compact in the prettiest shades of rose, sheer rose, lustrous white and plum; Chanel Rouge Allure in Surprise, Imagination or Darling
- MAC Lipstick in Please Me, Politely Pink, Snob, High Strung or Bombshell. This is only a small sampling of MAC's long, lovely list of lip colors.

So many to choose from! Personally, I like to get at least two shades: one darker and one lighter. Of course, you can mix your own colors to come up with a one-of-a-kind color, too. Have fun with it because that's what makeup should be: fun.
