The importance of toner

Well gals, I must say I'm sometimes surprised to find that many of you don't use toners. The holy trinity of face care, or the bare minimum you should give your face every day is WASH, TONE and MOISTURIZE.While washing and moisturizing parts are rather clear, the toning one often confuses. So, here it goes for you unbelievers:

First of all, you have to tone your skin to remove any makeup and makeup remover residue that might be left on your skin after washing up. Also, it gets your skin back its PH level and prepares it for moisturizing. The cream's ingredients can therefore penetrate your skin and do all they have to, to make your face lovely, wrinkle free and ready to face the world.

One other great plus of toners is they usually instantly freshen up your skin, so you can use toner to 'put together' your face after a long night of clubbing and dancing. For a quick lift up, put one in your purse and apply every few hours while at work, and you'll soon call it your best friend for the 'night after'.

The toner I'm using right now (Loreal for 20's skin) is great for winter, because it gives me the extra moisturizing feeling. The one I used in summer, Garnier Fresh, won my heart by having a wonderful scent and really felt refreshing.

Still don't believe me? Go to the cosmetics department and ask the kind lady to help you choose a toner. Buy one moderately priced, and use it for a couple of days. I'm sure you'll see the difference. Let me know how it goes.
