That darn orange peel

Cellulite. I hate it. Figured just how much when I caught a glimpse of my thighs in the bathroom mirror the other night. And you know what? I have it even more now than when I had…a fuller figure. As doctors say, you can't get rid of cellulite with weight loss, while fashion designers often state backstage how many models have the ugly orange peel.

I am so into fighting cellulite that I am starting a new section here at a href="http://www.areyouabeauty.com">Are You a Beauty, and I'm going to bring you every possible and efficient way to minimize cellulite and its appearance.

First of all, cellulite is not some squeamish miracle that infests your tights and your rear. It is as a matter of fact plain fat, which looks gross because of the connective tissue beneath your skin not doing its job of pulling it all together.

So what can we do about it? We can do a lot, from cardio to creams and gels, with some massage in between. The only promise you'll have to make is to be determined. I leave you with a recipe for an anti-cellulite bath, like our grandmas used to make:

Take some 12 teaspoons of dried English Ivy leaves (lat. Hedera helix) and put some 3.3 oz of water to heat up. When the water starts boiling, put the ivy in let it simmer for 10-15 minutes. When done, drain the liquid and pour it into your already prepared bath (no bubbles). Lay in and relax, while the ivy is working on making your circulation better.

Enjoy it and stay tuned for more anti-cellulite weapons!
