Thakoon + Gucci Westman = Pixel Pink

Beauty-lovers, get ready for the launch of spring's most anticipated lipsticks. Pixel Pink, the fourth and final lipstick in Lancôme's Pout-à-Porter series, is set to make it's debut in early March.

The shade was created by celebrated emerging designer Thakoon and celebrity makeup artist/Lancôme International Artistic director Gucci Westman for Thakoon's Spring 2008 show. All the models - Catherine, Hye, Jessica, Coco, Irina and the others - wore Pixel Pink as they walked down the runway. I had the great fortune of testing Pixel Pink and I'm pleased to report that it's a versatile, wearable sheer raspberry.

Pixel Pink will be available limited quantities in March, exclusively at Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Lancôme's five U.S. boutiques and www.lancôme-usa.com with a suggested retail price of $24. Waiting lists are open now and a special behind-the-scenes video is slated to debut on YouTube.com in early February.
