It's Saturday, which means I spent the afternoon shopping with a friend. This week, we hit SoHo (NYC-speak for South of Houston Street) for the Dwell sample sale and then made our way through a few other great spots, including Anthropologie, Pearl River Mart, CB2 and one of my fave bath & body spots, Sabon NYC.
Sabon is a bit of a mystery. I discovered the company a few years ago at the annual holiday gift market in Bryant Park. They have fantastic soaps, which you can slice by the bar in store, along with yummy smelling bath goodies like bombs, salts and oils. Try the Shower Oil for a perfectly moisturizing, heavenly scented experience!
Sabon's packaging is just perfect too - luxe (many products come in glass bottles) but with a homespun, apothecary feel.
Sabon has several stores in New York (I visited 93 Spring Street) and they've also set up shop at the Garden State Plaza in Paramus, New Jersey, in Boston and Chicago. Find a store near you or shop online at www.sabonnyc.com
