Soy Sauce – the best antioxidant
Posted on 24 June 2006

If you're anything like me, you are freaking out and doing your best to preserve your skin (especially face skin) with minimum winkles, acne, blemishes and all other nasty things such as aging in this environment unfriendly times.
You might be eating fruits and vegetables galore, you might overstuff on vitamin C, or even buy really expensive cosmetics, but it seems that the most efficient solution against free radicals was just waiting to be noticed. And voila here it is: soy sauce.
According to the study of professor Barry Halliwell, dark soy sauce might be one of the best antioxidants available. The soy sauce contains antioxidant properties about 10 times more effective than red wine and 150 times more potent than vitamin C, which were considered the best fighters against free radicals cell damage.
So my darlings, let us all stop spending so much money on overpriced antioxidants cosmetics and instead get a bite to eat at the local Chinese restaurant. Don't forget to buy some soy sauce the next time you go shopping!
