Soccer stars?

You know your baseball and your football, you're into beach volleyball and tennis, but what's all that fuss with soccer celebrities right now you might ask?
Well, all my dear American girlfriends, we are lucky (?) enough that David Beckham signed for LA Galaxy soccer club, so we're going to get a glimpse of at least one real live Euro soccer celeb. Those people earn more than fashion designers while their girlfriends spend more on one shopping spree than a normal person for a year's living. And all that for kicking a ball, dribbling and scoring goals.
Let me tell you right from the start: David Beckham is the man who made metrosexual popular. This English player wore makeup and spend real money buying cosmetic products before we even knew metrosexuals existed, and his weekly changes of hair styles made all Europe mad for 'beckhams'. Nonetheless, Victoria Beckham, the merry wife, became the WAG queen of (questionable) fashion taste after her career in Spice Girls ended, and has since paired the unmatchable, with delightful fug outfits here and there.
Now she spends her time trying to get on some meat before she can get pregnant again, and trying to get their new LA house decent enough to live in. David will surely enjoy the $250 million fee he got for signing the 5 year contract, the money will surely make his last career years much more pleasant.
Why am I writing this anyhoo? Well, if you're really bored with Paris Hilton, can't stand the Olsen twins and are sooo over drooling after Brad Pitt, why not try a new celeb to worship? As David Beckham has a vivid track of adulteries with renowned fashion models, and Victoria tends to wear fake nipples, there is always something to talk about on a girls night out.
