And you know what? My lashes look great. I got them died into a dark brown color to match well with my blond hair, but as I understood the lady, you can have them lightened up or darkened down, to match your hair color. The whole procedure took only a few minutes and when I woke up the next morning, ready to put on my mascara with a shovel, I was pleasantly surprised to see I needed only one application for luscious, long, sexy lashes.
At this point I was ready to recommend this procedure to any girl who ever wanted the ultimate lash and could never achieve it with mascara alone. I was happy, looking great, until I surfed the web and found out that the FDA does not approve any dye to be put on eyelashes and eyebrows. The Cosmetics cop is also really strict about eyelash dying:
"No one should ever dye her eyelashes or eyebrows. An allergic reaction to the dye could prompt swelling, inflammation, and susceptibility to infection in the eye area. These reactions can severely harm the eye and even cause blindness."
Now I know I have been lucky to get out of this with my eyes well, so please don't do dye your eyelashes, it's simply not worth it.
