Shopping For Children’s Clothing
Posted on 29 January 2010

As an adult, I need not buy clothes all the time. Well…as long as I stick to my current weight and already have collections for the difference seasons, then I'm good. I buy classic cuts anyway that never run out of fashion…
But children's clothing is a different ballgame. Just because kids grow out of their clothes all the time. So you have to buy them clothes every time they grow out of their current clothes collection. And that's how often? Like every 3 months?! I am a parent myself and I know that kids grow so fast that you can hardly keep up with them.
That been said, I buy more clothes for my kid more than I buy clothes for myself. Also, I often get him clothes that are about two sizes larger so that they will last longer. And children's clothes can oftentimes be more expensive than adult's clothes. So getting something like two sizes larger than your kid's size can actually save you some money in the long run. (Just don't do it on his shoes.) Tell that too to those who are thinking of giving your kid clothes as a gift.
