You see, all beauty products tend to create a build-up, so your hair as well as skin lose the healthy shine. You can fix the skin by exfoliating or microdermabrasion, and your hair should get a good wash up with a clarifying shampoo.
But this alone won't help your hair get back the shine, especially if it's colored or damaged. So, I'm very grateful to Kristen Kelly over at Beauty Addict blog, who discovered a new product, Shine Happy from Clairol.
Since treating my hair with Shine Happy, it's shinier, softer, and more healthy looking - especially my highlights. It is shiny, and not just moderately so - I mean shiny in the manner of models in shampoo commercials. writes Kristen.
I'll try the product next week, she persuaded me with her cheerful writing. God knows every girl needs as much shine as she can get hold on.

Really?!? Oh, well I'll try to have that for my hair too. I've been suffering for a dry-looking hair for months now and one hair expert told me that I should get to apply conditioner only twice for my hair to shine. Could I still apply daily conditioner while I use Clairol's Happy?

Well, your hair expert might be wrong. If you suffer from extremely dry hair, a good thing to do is to put the conditioner on (after shampooing), wrap your hair in a plastic bag and put a towel on it. Let it 'sink in' for as long as you can (up to 30 minutes) and then rinse.
You can use Shine Happy and your conditioner as well, no problem there.

I used a few treating kits but nothing compares to the saloon experience. They really know how to do the job right.
