Product review Tuesday: A second best perfume
Posted on 30 May 2006

It's official – the Stilton people are ignoring me to the bone, and have failed to send me a sample of their Eau de Stilton to try out. Shame on them!
So, I'm not going to post about cheesy perfumes today in the product review Tuesday, I'm going to write about real perfumes that matter.
I'm sure you're all aware of my obsession with the Poison line, so that's definitely the no. 1 perfume for me (yes, all of them, read why), but for my second best I must name Lolita Lempicka – Lolita Lempicka.
A few years back I was looking for a nice fragrance to wear during the day and have stumbled upon this fairy tale of a perfume: Lolita Lempicka is an enchanting and alluring fragrance that gently balances the sweetness of ivy leaves and aniseed with delicate violet and iris root, and finishes with a smooth hint of vanilla and musk. This sensual fragrance is pure, light, and endearing. states Sephora.
It makes you feel like a princess, and is well suitable for leisure walks, work or a lunch with friends. And if you happen to meet a dashing guy along the way, you're quite ready to charm him into becoming your prince! I even put Lolita Lempicka on sometimes when writing this blog – to put myself in mood for something beautiful.
The new Lolita Lempicka fragrance should be coming out soon (June 2006), named simply "L" – A fragrance exuding the beauty of the ocean coupled with the myth of the mermaid. A fresh oriental Elixir, overwhelming the senses and embracing the skin with the salty kiss of the Everlasting Flower. Top notes: Bitter Orange & cinnamon. Heart notes: Immortal & Vanilla. Base notes: Precious Woods, Solar Notes & Musks., says the British webshop Escentual, where you can also put your name down on the preorder list.
