Problems down under - heat rashes and ingrown hairs
I love summer, as a matter of fact any warm season, but things which always gave me headaches were ingrown hairs and dubious rashes appearing out of nowhere, usually on the upper thigh and (!) lower buttocks area.

This was of course due to heat, humidity, sweat and tight clothes, so no need to be ashamed of it if it happens to you. A simple fact of life is that bacteria grow best in great conditions, and summer is one of them. Also, contrary to popular belief, girls do sweat :) When all of these factors combine, hair follicles (roots of hairs) get infected and a big ugly red pimple or more of them pop right up.

How to get rid of, or even prevent, rashes and ingrown hair? It's easy when one knows what to do. I had to visit a dermatologist because of it, but am willing to save you the pain: shower every day, use scrubs twice a week and wear natural fiber clothes. But more importantly, get some plain cotton balls and some Clindamycin Phosphate lotion. Swab areas endangered areas (inner thighs, buttocks...) once a day and let it air dry.

Works like a charm.
