Pretty Feet

Posted on 21 October 2007

I know sandal season is over and you're shopping for boots and other shoes for cooler weather. Even though not many people are going to see your feet again until next spring, don't neglect those babies unless you're into major repairs. After a fall and winter spent inside socks, shoes, boots and in heated buildings that can rob them of moisture, feet sometimes emerge in the spring a little worse for wear.

How can you make sure your feet don't come out next May dry and parched?

Pretty Feet

Take good care of them during the next couple of seasons. Dr. Scholl's doesn't just make those cool wooden sandals anymore; they sell an entire line devoted to the beautification of your feet, including pumice stones and thick, rich creams that will soften even the hardest of heels.

Scrub your heels and other rough areas with pumice while you're in the bath or shower a few times a week. Follow every shower with a generous application of your favorite foot cream. Just a few minutes of care each day will result in pretty feet come spring.

'Til next time, my pretties.
