Perfumed soap bars – a road to luxury
Posted on 03 March 2007

You know me, I'm all for modern science used in cosmetics (especially when it comes to diminishing wrinkles), but sometimes, just sometimes, old ways are beauty wise. Over a month ago I got a perfumed (scented) soap bar, and got addicted to it.
For me, taking a shower always included a state of the art exfoliating gel, with special moisturizing and firming properties, best yet if it came with a big red 'new' label on it. Needless to say, I haven't used a regular soap bar in ages, always thinking about it as old-fashioned and obsolete.
That was before I was given the wonderfully scented O De Lancome Soap (first on the photo). When I first used it, a bit doubtful of the result, it really opened my eyes. I was bedazzled with the richness of the scent, the femininity of the perfume, so far away from the strawberry-lemon zest-whatever so popular in bath products nowadays. The leather was rich and lasted long, the soap glided effortlessly. I was in love.
My next purchase was the lovely Fresh Pink Jasmine bar, and afterwards I got me a Alchimia Ladybug Natural Magnolia Handmade Soap Bar. Needles to say, I'm addicted to perfume and flower scented soap bars.
My recommendation to all of you girls, try out a fine bar of soap, which makes your skin lightly scented and oh so wonderful.

My fav soap is L’Occitane’s milk soap. It is french milled and lasts a long time.
