Nail polish - Does it pay off to pay top $$

You see, nail polishes have a tendency to lose their viscosity over time, become really hard to spread on evenly, don't dry as they should or become completely unusable. Which is rather bad if you lashed out $10 or more for that perfect shade of royal blue so popular at the moment, only to find out it will come out of style in just a month or two. When the color comes back in style, the polish won't work anymore, I promise.
So, the smart way to buy trendy polishes (whether blue, black, silver or gold) is small and cheap. You can try Sinful Colors, which has a good range at $2 a pop, and if that does not satisfy your color needs, you are definitely going to find something among the 150 shades of Nyx Nail Laquer at only $3.
But, there is a catch, of course. With cheap color, you have to use quality base and top coat. This will not only make your manicure long lasting, but will also prevent chipping, damage to the nail and all other sorts of trouble.
Here I have to say hat I had a very loving relationship with Chanel base coat nail varnish, and Lancome Magnetic top coat which never left me down.
Enjoy changing your nail color as often as you please just remember: bas coat, two color coats and a top coat make a perfect manicure, which will not come off at the most inappropriate moment!
