You love them or you hate them, but crocs are one of THE most comfortable shoes I have put my feet in. I wear them at home all the time, as they tend to relax your feet and make you feel like you're walking on clouds.
Which is great if you have small kids you have to run after or just walk round the house million times as I do.
I recently found Mary Jane Crocs, which do appeal to my fashion sense, as I love looking and feeling great even indoors. I'd say that those pink ones on the photo are a perfect replacement for home slippers. I wouldn't recommend wearing Crocs outside your home and garden, except if you're a nurse, as they do tend to raise eyebrows.
As Go Fug Yourself kindly puts it:
"We cannot allow the ghoulish Rubber Menace to become the sort of perceived all-purpose footwear that the Ugg boot has become; we cannot allow our impressionable starlets to think it's acceptable to start pairing them with skirts, or dresses, or evening gowns. They cannot cross into Formal Shoe country."
With all this said, I can't deny the fact that some of the Crocs really do scare me, for instance the Crocs Georgie boots. These would indeed be perfect if you were a farmer in England, but I don't want to hear any excuses for wearing these on a rainy day in the city.
