Luxe Must: Molton Brown’s Air Candela
Posted on 21 March 2008

Scent memory is a funny thing. I can remember the the very first time I sniffed Molton Brown's heavenly Naran Ji, a zesty blend of orange, Egyptian basil, Russian carvi, thyme and blackcurrant, was at NYC's Bryant Park Hotel. This chi-chi spot uses the brand's gorgeous Fine Liquid Hand Wash in guest rooms and I swear, I loved the fragrance so much, I wanted to pop the bottle into my bag. But I didn't. Because I am a good, honest person, I swear!
I did, however, get an amazing Molton Brown fix on Tuesday, when I attended a VIP shopping event at their store. $200+ later, I left with a happy heart and a sad wallet. Included in my bounty was the gorgeous Naran Ji (but, of course!) Air candela, a large, richly scented candle that resides in the most luxe and beautiful box ever. While pricy at $84, it's a worthy indulgence and a can't miss hostess gift.
