Love goes through the stomach

Whoever invented that saying, must have been right. I have to admit that Ive seen this work time over time, with a man choosing the more 'household able' girl to marry.

But, to step away from such gloomy thoughts, there are more practical reasons for a trendy girl to master some culinary delights. First one is of course, to impress 'Mr Big', giving him the taste of home-you, away from dazzling Blahniks, clubs and a perfect hairdo.

The other reason to learn a recipe or two recipes is that it feels absolutely great to make something with your own hands, for a change from restaurants, soup places and diners.

I like to make desserts (I highly recommend the zabaglione recipe on Elise's blog) and pasta (my currently favorite is Angel's Hair Pasta with Lemon and Pine Nuts from Chefs).

But, be free to explore. Take small steps, and don't torment yourself if you don't succeed at first. A lot can be learned from About website, and Tom's blog. You can find easy to make recipes here, some new and exciting recipes on Nothing new to eat blog and the ultimate guide on how to prepare a romantic dinner is available at So You Wanna. Bon apetit!
