Know your bra
Posted on 02 February 2007

There is nothing more uncomfortable than an unsuitable bra. Not only comfort is at stake, you can also develop bad posture and saggy breasts, while your clothing might not fit you properly. So why not get the right size and shape for your assets?
Figleaves, my favorite lingerie shopping site, has devised a great bra fitting guide, which requires, believe it or not, no tape measure:
"There are so many styles and bra sizes out there it can be daunting. But there is no reason why you should not be able to find your correct size or know how a bra should fit. In this fitting guide, we'll show you how to replace the traditional tape measure with something far more reliable – your existing bra, a mirror and, most important of all, your own judgment – to find your true bra size in just eight easy steps."
The Figleaves first teach you to put on a bra correctly, how the perfect bra should feel and look, and once you get to know your basics you can calculate which size you should be wearing.
If you're confused as I was with all the different bra styles (push up, balconette, half cup and so on), surf to the style glossary and get in the know.
