Kate Moss for Topshop

I don't know why, but everyone seems to love Kate Moss and her style, many are considering her the most style-influential icon of our time, and any single thing she puts on is instantly declared an IT item.

Topshop decided to take advantage of that fact and managed to persuade Kate to inspire a special line. The Telegraph declares Moss the new Topshop muse:

"It's the kind of partnership other brands would kill for. The model's style and selling power are legendary. She can carry anything from a charity bag from Superdrug that costs just £2.99 (as she did a couple of weeks ago) to a Balenciaga Lariat bag and sales will go through the roof. She is more influential than many designers working today – whatever Moss is seen wearing will almost always become a huge trend for girls in their teens or twenties to thirties and beyond."

Although I was always into fashion, heroin-chic was never my cup of tea. Luckily, the new Topshop Kate Moss line is nowhere even near that. The models you can see at the Katemosstopshop.com Look Book are indeed skinny, but the clothing seems really nice. Hope it will come in sizes larger than zero :)

The line will hit the stores 1st May, and the fashionistas everywhere are pondering how to get their hands on the Kate Moss line among the first. For those really obsessed, there's a chance to preorder.

I never really understood the Kate Moss obsession either. Maybe it’s because I’m an American, but the clothes look pretty fierce so I’m interested.
