Is the new size era approaching?

I can honestly say that Jennifer Hudson was one of the best dressed actresses on Oscar night. Not only her dress (who imagined Oscar de la Renta in size above 10?), but her posture as well has shown her assets off in the best possible way. The girl who won 25 awards for her role in Dreamgirls, among others Oscar and the Golden Globe, made it clear she is comfortable with her body, as an example to us all: it doesn't matter what size you are, if you carry it with dignity and charm.
You know, I admire her for wearing a sleeveless gown, only a few women of similar figure would pull it off. Just looking at her makes me feel good about my round spots. Her success made me think: did you notice how things are getting out of 'normal' proportion recently? Not only J. Lo behind, but we were crazy about plump lips, long, thick eyelashes and luscious locks all throughout the last year, which points another question: Could all this be a sign that the new size era is approaching?
While we're still waiting for the public eye to stop frowning at the too big, too short, too rounded and the simply different, look at the YouTube video of Jennifer Hudson in American Idol. If she learnt how to dress, control her voice and wear her body with pride, so can all of us.
