How To Manage Dry Hair
Posted on 05 July 2010

Dry hair is often a problem for many women with curly hair. This is especially true during the summer season.
But it is really easy to take care of your locks even in the most humid conditions.
1. Use cold water to rinse your hair. Steamy showers feel great but high temperatures can really dry your hair. Use cold water to lock in the moisture that your hair needs.
2. Remove all hair accessories when sleeping. No clips, pins, nets, curlers, etc.
3. Limit your use of heating equipment. Make sure your hair gets a break from the curling iron, blow drierand the flat iron.
4. Use a conditioner profusely. You need to deeply condition your hair as often as possible to keep it as healthy as possible.
5. Wash your hair every other day. No more, no less. Washing your hair every day will dry them out. If you don't have a date tonight, try wrapping up your hair or maybe wearing a head band.
