There's nothing worse than straightening your hair or making soft tresses, investing a lot of your time, just to step out of your house and by the time you're at work have the hair all curly, straight or frizzy.
There are of course ways to beat this, but they are usually very difficult to find. So, I've done the hard work for you, just keep reading.
One of the ways, and the most reasonable one, is to go with the flow. That means, if your hair is straight, let it be, protect it with some hairspray and that's it. If you're on the other side of the story, some gel could help emphasize your curls. If all else fails, ponytail won't.
The other way to go is to combat humidity and do your hair your way. First of all, stop using heavy hair moisturizers because they'll make everything worse by sucking up the humidity. A good choice would be Avalon tea tree mint conditioner, or any product made especially for fine hair.
Second, use humidity defying products, which will coat the hairs from top to bottom and prevent humidity sinking in. There's Herbal essences gel for straightened or naturally curly hair whileCatwalk line from TIGI Pliable Pudding is humidity resistant, recommend for the tousled look.
Always finish with a hair spray, to maximize your protection. If you want a styling hold, without the stickiness or stiffness, try Beauty without cruelty hair spray.
