How about perfumed lotions?
Posted on 15 August 2006
Some time ago I wrote about summer perfumes and how MimiFrufru is the one to ask for perfume advice. As I told you back than, choosing a perfume to wear through the hot season is a tricky business, because the heat enhances and changes the scent.
Here's another thing you could do to prevent smelling weird – or to insure you're smelling lovely all through the summer: get some perfumed body lotions. As your skin needs more moisture since it's sweating its water out, you know you need to feed it more, and the perfumed body lotions are usually luxuriously formulated and leave your skin silky smooth.
On top of that, they'll scent your skin with subtle perfume fragrance you love. This means that people (men) will notice the fragrance only if they step close to you, which is just where we want them
Here are my favorites:
|
Gucci Envy Me perfumed body lotion – Gucci Envy was in fact one of the first real perfumes I ever purchased. First perfume and first love are quite the same – they keep following you throughout your life. The Envy Me perfume variant is in my opinion even better than the original scent. |
|
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle body lotion is for all those who love the scent of elegance. Chanel No. 5 was the IT perfume for generations of elegant women, the Mademoiselle version is quite easier to wear and more appropriate for younger women (when I say younger, read my lips – 20 to 40). |
|
Dior Pure Poison body lotion – You know me and my Poison fixation, so no surprises here. If you're a girl on the sexy side, preferring tight clothes to loose ones, this is your best pick. |

I never thought of this! But…how would you put your perfume in a cream?
