"GRAND OPENING: Hundreds of people waited in line that snaked around the entire block as the Uber-hip Scandinavian store H & M opened at noon in Old Pasadena on Thursday Sept. 21, 2006. The first of its kind to open in Southern California, this moderately-priced hip fashion store is also found in Northern California and the East coast."
I know I would call in sick to get a chance to win $300 H&M gift card! I wouldn't even mind waiting for hours outside, but I think I would send my darling boyfriend to do the honor of standing in line. I mean, having a boyfriend can really come in handy sometime :)
One other thing, I really hate the fact that H&M does not have an USA online store. I've checked, they only do web shopping in Dutch. I'd be crazy enough to order my new fall coat right from Nederland, but it's quite tricky because I do not speak the lingo.
I'll send H&M an e-mail and beg them to make online shopping available in the US too, for all of us fashion deprived souls.
