Herbal Essences new line

I've got an announcement about a new Herbal Essences line through e-mail, from a - fund raising charity. It seems that Give Kids the World organization is trying to raise some money while appealing to your beauty conscious nature. You can be 'the first one to buy' one of the newest, hottest products this brand has to offer, and do a good deed all in one. Go for it!

Essences has been one of my favorite shampoo brands for a long time now, and I've always enjoyed the feeling of cleanliness and the wonderful scent it gave my hair. My Fruit Fusions shampoo with blackberry has never missed to perform.

The new product line sounds interesting enough, with collections named Body Envy, Break's Over, Color Me Happy, Dangerously Straight, Drama Clean, Hello Hydration, None of Your Frizziness, Set Me Up and Totally Twisted. Can't wait to try them out!

Response from: thebeautybrains This is an interesting strategy their doing with Herbal Essences. Sales have been way down and it is clearly an attempt to turn the brand around. How things change, 4 years ago it was the hottest hair care brand around. We did a post on our blog about this recently. Basically, P&G changed many of the formulas and made them the same as Pantene (except for color and fragrance of course). Just look at the ingredient lists on the back. They even have the same patent number at the bottom. It's a great formula but don't expect it to perform any different than Pantene. Response from: Dolly I would add this. There's too much information here, so let's boil this formula down to the active ingredients - the ones that actually do something to you hair that you can feel.
