Going Tropical with Nude & Malie Kauai

I had a sad start to my day this morning. You see, I finished up my tub of Nude's Moisturizing Body Polish ($52) and while I normally feel a sense of closure when I finish a product, this is one that I am going to miss.

I love Nude's scrub because it's thick and granular, using sugar to exfoliate while yummy Hibiscus monoi leaves a tropical floral fragrance on skin. It's non-irritating but gets the job done even on rough feet and elbows.

But when one door closes, another opens (even in beauty) and I did test a fabulous new-to-me product this AM. Malie Kauai's Bath Lather ($18) is a light, syrupy body wash in heavenly tropical fragrances like Pikake, Coconut Vanilla and new Organic Mango Nectar.

Malie Kauai is based in Kauai (but of course) - an island that I have bad memories of as the only time I visited was during a time of torrential rain and mudslides. That said, I'm not holding it against them as the products are beautifully packaged and use sustainably grown ingredients that deliver results as promised. Gotta love that!

Aloha for today, dear readers!
