Go Bright! New Colgate Total Advanced Whitening Toothpaste

I'm an anomoly in the beauty blogging world sometimes. You see, I don't get all that excited about many new makeup releases or the hottest new nail color from Chanel. Instead, I get really pysyched to hear about improvements to beauty and personal care staples, like toothpaste!

I recently had the chance to test out Colgate's new Total® Advanced Whitening toothpaste, which works to whiten teeth and simultaneously helps maintain strong, healthy teeth and gums. The formula fights germs in your mouth for 12 hours (just like regular Colgate Total, which celebrates 10 years in 2008) but also boasts an advanced whitening silica system that helps remove surface stains for healthier and whiter teeth. After brushing with this toothpaste, my teeth do indeed feel super clean though I'm not sure that any toothpaste is on the surface of your teeth long enough to truly whiten.
