Some ultra-glam beauty news from the inbox today...MAX Factor has just announced that supermodel Gisele Bündchen is the new face of the brand.

Gisele's role as the newest MAX Factor face continues the brand's long-standing heritage of putting a gorgeous face and modern, fashion-forward makeup looks within reach for all women. She will begin to appear in the ad campaign for Lipfinity Lip Collection and ColorGenius Face Collection in October.

In addition to launching with Gisele, MAX Factor will celebrate their 100th anniversay in just a few short months (early 2009.) Mr. Max Factor, recognized as the father of modern makeup by many, revolutionized the concept of beauty 100 years ago on the Hollywood movie lots with the creation of his iconic makeup line. Designing looks for icons Joan Crawford, Bette Davis, Rita Hayworth and Katherine Hepburn, he transformed the leading ladies of his era.
