Get your feet in patterned flats

Posted on 07 August 2007

Flats are not only comfy, but really trendy at the moment. In fact, there are two ways to show your footwear expertise at the moment: by wearing high-heel peeptoes or by wearing flats.

The thing I love about flats is that they are so versatile, and can literary go from dawn to late night clubbing, since it's so much easier to catch a bus or dance all night long in comfortable footwear. Flats can be worn with skirts, shorts, dresses and jeans alike, and the only reason why I have as many heels as flats in my wardrobe is that heels do in fact make you look sexier.

But, back to flats. This season's obsession is patterns and prints again, be it geometric, animal, artistic or etno, even plain crazy goes. So why not wear patterned flats, and show your fashion know?

When I first heard the word flat, I thought hey ….houses to rent, rooms to let and homes to rent. To suddenly realise thats the name given to those flat shoes I’ve always found distasteful on buxom women ….I’ll look out for these flats on model fihures and see what they look like ….thing is ..they just don’t suit certain types of women
