As every day brings us closer to summer, and the heat is starting to get to us, it's time to rethink our makeup bags and make the stuff we put on our faces more durable. Let start with the foundation of every decent makeup - foundation.
I love liquid or cream powders as any other girl, and have learnt to put it on perfectly. A good foundation can be a lifesaver, hiding away most imperfections, and leaving us with a well-prepared canvas ready to be painted. In winter our foundations double up as cold-shield and protecting against wind.
But with heat and humidity even the most wonderful of foundations have a tendency to melt away or even worse pile up on unexpected places on our face, leaving the despised cake look. So every smart girl leaves foundation in a fridge to wait for fall, and tries to cover up her imperfections with concealers, illuminators or loose powder.
My dears, there surely is a better way to have perfect skin even in summer heat - tinted moisturizers. Now don't get me wrong, I am not saying tinted moisturizers can give you the porcelain tan, but using it you can even out your skin tone, hide away some skin discoloration, reduce the appearance of dark circles and disguise a pimple or two.
All that with minimum effort, and no extra props - it's enough to put on the tinted moisturizer as you would a regular one. Who a dab or two of your favorite concealer or illuminator on critical spots, you get the perfect, fresh, great looking skin.
