Five beauty things you might not know about me
Posted on 16 January 2007

Following my dear Eliane's request, I'll post five beauty related things you might not know about me:
1. I used to play tennis, almost gotten to professional level, but than I got bored. Nonetheless, doing sports during my childhood and teenage years left me with great looking behind, nice shins and a strong fist. This means groping me in public transportation is never a good idea.
2. In real life I'm a journalist, among other things. I used to work for a TV station and had shows, interviews and coverings every day, so I learnt to put my makeup on fast and precise, even while driving in a cab. Also, I got used to wear it every day, so now I feel naked when I have no makeup on my face.
3. I can get ready in less than 15 minutes. That is because I try to maintain my closet full of clean clothing and shoes, I manicure and pedicure on regular basis, hair removal is a weekly chore for me. So, all I have to do for any occasion is to shower, put my hair up and my clothes on while make up is never a problem.
4. I have really thick hair. It's so thick my grandma used to 'undercut' it when I was a little girl (she cut off a couple of inches of my hair at the back of my neck) because she could never comb it or make it look decent. Thankfully, now that I got my Rowenta Brush Active I have beautiful, tamed and shiny mane.
5. I too, just like Eliane lost considerable weight during the last year. My success was all thanks to the Atkins principles. I got off sugar and got back the control over my body. Just one thing here: it's even more important to exercise when doing low-carb, or your muscles will suffer.

Eliane, I totally agree with you on having skin, meat, and everything else on our bones. I’m so glad that perky behinds (J.Lo style) are back in fashion! Regardless, I always advise my readers to be healthy, no matter what their clothing size says.
Hi. Are you interesting in a link exchange with my blog ?

As I work from 9 am till 9 pm, so I do not find time to do exercise. Sometimes back, I was really gaining some extra pounds around my shoulder and my hip. So, from my friend I heard that Garcinia works wonder in these cases. It’s an ayurvedic herbal capsule which helps us to keep ourselves in shape. I am having it on regular basis and I think my pumpkin like structure has shrunk quite a lot.
Sally, thanks for your take on things, but I really do not approve of taking medicine to make me lose weight. I sounds just too easy. Although I am glad you have such positive experience.
yes u all are right, we have to manage our time for at-least 30-45 mins for exercise and do some take care in eat(Diet System)
