Fast food calories
Needles to say, fast food is not your best friend, that is if you are trying to maintain your desired weight and stay healthy. We all remember the Super Size Me movie, don't we?

Recent studies, as suggested on diet-blog.com, show that people who order larger fast-food meals tend to underestimate calories in those meals by almost 40 percent.

"When the meals were large - people underestimated calorie levels by 38%. In smaller meals the calories were underestimated by only 2.9%.
A second part of the study was in the lab - where 40 undergraduate students had to estimate calorie content of 15 sizes of the same fast-food meal. The meal consisted of different amounts of fries, soda, and chicken nuggets.
Once again the larger meals were underestimated by 22.6%."

So, once again, don't just assume something is fat-free, low-cal, or sugarless. Do your homework before grabbing that fast-food sandwich and study the calories, fats and carbs in your favorite fast-food treats. You'll find easy to search and detailed nutrition info about McDonalds, Wendy's, Subway or Burger King by clicking on the names.
