Don't Forget Your Hand Cream
Filed in archive Beauty by del on October 6, 2007
So your makeup is perfect and you're having a good hair day. Your dress flatters you and makes you appear taller and slimmer. You're wearing the shoes you've been coveting forever. Everything's a go, right? Not if your hands are dry and crusty.

I am a hand cream fanatic. Because I'm constantly washing my hands throughout the day (no, I'm not suffering from OCD, just germ Phobia), I'm worried that my hands will be rough from all the warm/hot water. That's why I carry hand lotion everywhere. There's tubes/jars in my bathroom, in my purse, in my kitchen, in my car. I've tried a lot of different brands, but two of my favorites are Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream and Burt's Bees Beeswax and Banana Hand Cream.

The Norwegian Formula is perfect for winter because it's so thick and rich. Don't apply it right before you have to get a good grip on something, though, because you will slide right off. The Burt's Bees is a little lighter and the smell is delicious. Slather on the hand cream of your choice throughout the day and before bed, and you'll have softer, smoother hands in a matter of days.

'Til next time, my pretties.
