Do a good deed - donate your makeup

Some of them I never used, like the bath salts I got for Christmas, vanilla scented body lotion (which I don't like the smell of) or the Maybeline mascara
in brown, I bought by mistake. Some of the beauty products are only a bit used, or I used them for a while and got bored. Jackie really has a point there: Why can't I buy most of this stuff in trial sizes? Seriously, is there an economic reason behind this? I'm almost tempted to start going halves with friends on products and splitting them up, because I can hardly remember the last time I finished an entire bottle of something. So I took my time to gather them all in one box. I had no mercy, every single product I didn't use for a month and a half went into the box. After a couple of hours the box was full, and my bathroom was tidy and nice again.
What am I going to do with the boxed blushers, shampoos, creams, perfumes, deodorants, brow pencils, lipsticks, wax strips and the lot, you ask? The opened ones I'll try to pass on to my friends and relatives, maybe they will appreciate them.
For the unopened beauty products I have a really nice and noble goal: I'm going to send them to the women in need.
You see, I found an article on Makeupalley, where all the charities, women houses and nonprofit organizations are listed. Please support the following nonprofit organizations by sending them new and unopened beauty products. These organizations help women in need with day-to-day survival, and sometimes a little beauty luxury can help lift someone's spirit.A good deed and a tidy beauty cupboard in one. Who could ask for more?
