Discover the joys of cake mascara

In search for the best mascara available to humans, girls often buy every new wand-and-tube that hits the market. If it has words like lengthening, thickening or xxx written on it, the mascara will sell like mad. Yes, we girls are obsessed with our eyes and lashes, and it doesn't even matter that the newest mascara available requires putting the white gunk on first.

I say, if you're searching for the best mascara out there, take a leaf from the 1950s, and the beauty of Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn. Both of them used cake mascara.

Well, I know what you must be thinking now, something in the lines of: Oh my god, the makeup has advanced so much from then, why go back? And a simple answer is: Because it can't get any better.

Cake mascara will give you control and buildability, and will most certainly spare you from smudges and tarantula eyelashes.

There is a trick though. You must be prepared to take your time to use this mascara. You have to activate the product with a few drops of water, swirl the wand in it a bit and than wait for a moment or two for it to reach the desired density. It also takes a bit to get used to putting mascara on this way, but you will be most pleased!

You should first curl your lashes and than apply the mascara with the wand it came with.

Whish are the best brands you ask? Hollywood stars (such as Selma Hayek and Catherine Zeta Jones) rave about Longcils Boncza brand, which is quite pricey at $25, but is definitely the best there is. If you're on a budget, try La Femme brand, girls who used it are satisfied.
