Diet for fashion?!
Posted on 01 October 2006

I only recently came round to reading Karl Lagrfeld's Diet book, and it did make me laugh. Not only because a thin gray man is telling me how to shed pounds, but also because he thinks there's nothing wrong with dieting for fashion.
He says that we shouldn't pretend to be dieting for our health, but be bold and honest and say – yes, I want to look more attractive. Or as he puts it: My only ambition in life is to wear size 28 jeans.
But then again – I do buy fabulous clothes one size too small to motivate myself to lose weight, so who am I to complain?
An interesting read nonetheless, and although the diet in the book is rather good, some of the views of KL are weird to say the least.
Anyhoo, if you're ready for yet another diet book, this could be the one, especially because you can see hilarious photos of young Lagerfeld. And, speaking of hilarious, check out the LOL post about this very diet book on Spirit Fingers
