Dance round the pole to get fit
Posted on 19 October 2006

I know you must be bored with running, treadmill or gym, and I believe you when you say that you would definitely work out more if it was fun.
Why not try the pole fitness instead? I'm sure you've heard about it, and as Jim from Celebrities Weblog tells us, all the stars of Hollywood are going crazy about it. He points to the Nine News article where Kate Hudson tells us why she loves pole dancing:
"You are there with a bunch of girls and you are all having the best time. You are hootin' and hollering and you walk out of the class and you are like 'Ow! I love life!' It really gets your energy up!"
Hudson says she's never been stronger and has installed a pole at home so she can practise. She's also planning on getting her mum goldie hawn in on the act.
It seems like a good idea, doesn't it? There's a lot of gyms now offering pole classes, but be sure to ask for pole fitness, and not pole dancing, people might get you wrong.
