Combat acne with common sense

Avoid stress. Stress stimulates the release of special hormones in the human body that produce extra oil from the sebaceous glands, which will worsen acne. Stress also hurts the body physically and emotionally. The bottom line, it is not healthy.
Gently wash your face two times a day with mild soap. Wet your face, and lather with mild soap. Bar soap usually works best for me. Do not use a stronger formulated type of soap that will dry out your skin, thus causing more oil production.
After washing, rinse your face with cool water to remove any excess soap.
Try not to pick and squeeze pimples that are already present. I know, this is very hard and I am sure we all have tried this at least once. When you pick and squeeze at pimples, you are
forcing bacteria that love to thrive on extra oily skin down into the pores of your skin. You are also increasing your risk of scars from acne.
Drink plenty of water, and I mean... lots of it!
Water makes our beautiful body well, beautiful! In fact, our body is made up of 70% water! Water helps Flush
out bacteria and other impurities, leaving healthy skin for a beautiful, glowing face. You should typically drink around eight glasses of water each day. By avoiding stress, washing your face, not picking and squeezing, and drinking plenty of water, you are on a good start to combating acne. Do not expect the results over night. Give yourself plenty of time and patience and you will be amazed.
