Bottling the scent of bronzing

But, in the summer time, perfumes can be an even trickier ordeal. Firstly, the heat enhances the scent, so you must be careful with dosage. Second, the sweat and sun combined with perfume
can mix up to a nasty allergy or skin discoloration, so it's better to spray your favorite scent onto body parts not exposed to the sun. For instance, when I wear my long hair down I spray perfume onto the back of my neck.Lastly, you definitely have to give some thought to the perfume you're going to wear. Heavy and musky scents just don't seem right for the summer do they? So, I've searched for the right perfume to wear this summer. As it turned out, I needn't have searched for long, as my favorite perfume blogger opened my eyes. Mimi Froufrou once again managed to write a masterpiece article about a scent she would recommend to sun and summer loving girls. Here's a small excerpt of her post about Bond no 9 Fire Island perfume, released recently:
Fire Island thus contains a few precious drops of the scent of collective estival European memory. In the present tense, it presents itself as a luxurious beach scent blending a luscious tuberose with clean, marine ozone and musky notes and a spicy and woodsy suntan oil accord. I think that it distinguishes itself from other beach scents by the high quality of its ingredients and I would say that it is an excellent rendition of the genre. I would also underline that it is as much a floral scent as a beach scent. You can read the rest of her well put review here.
Needless to say, I trust Mimi Froufrou when it comes to perfumes, so Fire Island is surely my next purchase.
By the way, I simply love the idea Michel Almairac, the Fire Island perfume creator, tried to achieve: bottling the scent of bronzing. Sounds dreamy and exciting, doesn't it?
