Baby Soft Feet in Time for Spring

Spring is here and sandals are just around the corner. You know what that means - beautiful, manicured feet.

Months of winter heat, tall boots and general laziness would have ordinarily left my feet dry and calloused, but a few months ago I happened upon a wonderful tool at my local beauty supply store.

It's a Microplane Foot File, and it's absolutely perfect for making feet baby soft.

For years I bought pumice stones and dutifully twisted myself into uncomfortable yoga positions in order to scrub the soles of my feet. When that didn't work, I purchased emery boards specially made for the foot, but these quickly wore down.

The Microplane is serious business. It's the same concept as zesting a lemon. I know - sounds scary. I was terrified of it and only made the purchase when the salesperson assured me that she used it and loved it.
