Artificial nails

It all started when I accidentally broke one of my nails (I mean, what do the car manufacturers think when they design cars? Can't doors be opened automatically? Does the little handle have to be so little?) before going to my ex-boyfriends wedding. As I would be rather dead than imperfect on such occasion, my swift girl circle meeting decided: get an artificial nail to replace it.

I called one of the local beauty parlors and had luck to get an appointment, so an hour later I had a perfectly natural looking nail that complimented my other nine.

As time passed by, I noticed that my polish lasted extremely longer on my fake nail than on the others. When my other nail broke as well, I went to the same parlor again to get them all done. When the technician asked me if I wanted them longer I said why not? I also got the French manicure gel.

My experience with artificial nails is more than positive. They are durable and strong, polish lasts forever, it does not chip, and, thanks to the French manicure gel, I don't even have to polish them if I'm on a tight schedule.

Also, even if I have to visit the parlor every four or so weeks for a touch up, I really cut the costs of my nail care. I don't use any 'special' growth formulas, strengthening polishes or nail cements, and my varnishes bottles last considerably longer.

I now have rather long nails that took some time for me to adjust to, and I have to wash the dishes with gloves on, but all in all I'm really satisfied.

So, if you're looking to give yourself something nice to start the year on a good note, think of implementing artificial nails, you'll thank me later.
